Fuel Surcharge

Due to the continuing rise of diesel prices over the last eighteen months, we have found it necessary to implement a diesel surcharge on our transport sector services. In the past we have absorbed the full impact of these increases, however, the magnitude and volatility of these costs has now become so significant that unfortunately this is no longer possible. The surcharge will be adjusted on the 1st of every month, in line with future movements in diesel prices (see table below).

Should the price of diesel fall, a reduction in the surcharge will, of course, reflect this. As a guide to current fuel prices, you can check the average daily price on the website petrolprices.com or alternatively, the monthly average on the Automobile Association website which can be found at theaa.com. The surcharge calculation has been worked out using the Road Haulage Association rate.

The current price for fuel, June 2013 is 120p (£1.44 inc VAT)
